The use of remote court options over the last two years has demonstrated how much more efficiently we can handle the day-to-day business of the courts.


Many participants in the system lack driver’s licenses, insurance, and reliable transportation. For many hearings, there is no reason to put the burden of transportation on litigants.


If elected, I will advocate to keep video conferencing a permanent option in court for certain types of hearings and continue pushing the use of current technology to improve our community’s access to the courts.
